Set in 3 acres of paddocks and gardens, the estate is surrounded by mountains and trees with the Disa River running through the property. With the emphasis on relaxation, privacy and nature there are only 3 cottages and each one enjoys uninterrupted views, private patio and modern furniture and fittings. Each cottage enjoys TV, DVD, wireless internet access and satellite and bbq facilities. Fully serviced, there is a beautiful heated pool, sauna, private bar, billiard room and relaxation therapies on site. Buchan Estate is walking distance to World of Birds, 5 minutes to the beach and restaurants of Hout Bay and 20 minutes to Cape Town city centre. The airport is 30mins drive. Additionally offered is babysitting, an evening catering service and airport transfers.

I stayed here with my family in June 2006 and can thoroughly recommend the estate. Super child friendly (sand pit, jungle gym, friendly dogs and LOTS of space) yet quiet and peaceful at the same time. Lovely hosts, stylish and really comfortable cottage.

We have just returned from an amazing week at Buchan Estate. We were so impressed with the level of service from our hosts and the stunning location of the cottages. We would recommend Buchan Estate to anyone. The scenery is breathtaking and the interiors modern and very stylish.
I want to go back.
