The Cottage, situated in one of the hotspots of tourism, Umhlanga, Durban, South Africa, boasts 3 lovely bedrooms all en suite. Helen and Reinhard Oehler, the owners, run the Cottage. Helen was born in the UK and has lived in South Africa most of her life. Reinhard was born in South Africa but had a very strong German upbringing and resultantly is fluent in English, Afrikaans and German. Their travel experience between these three countries was the influencing factor for Helen and Reinhard to start the B&B. Their friendly relaxed attitude combines personal service with German efficiency! Two rooms face the sea and the third room is ideal for those of you who prefer a bit of privacy, as it has it's own private access. The en suites consist of 2 bathrooms with showers and one with a bath/shower. The rooms all have their own TV's with local channels supplied via DSTV decoders. So if you are local, bring your own smart card! There is a large lounge, kitchen, and dining room, which is suited for either B&B guests or Self-catering guests. There is an air conditioner in the lounge area, which is powerful enough to cool the entire cottage. The lounge TV is linked to Satellite/DSTV channels. All rooms have access to a balcony and the cottage has it's own private entrance. If this isn’t enough, there is a gorgeous swimming pool where you can cool off or simply lay back and soak up the sun. Breakfasts consist of Full English and Continental. Fruit salad/platters are served with all breakfasts. Should you wish to you can book Bed Only. When Self Catering the cottage is booked exclusively for that purpose, so your privacy is ensured. Braai/Barbecue facilities are available. The Cottage is serviced daily.
